Sarah D. Baker, LMT is a New York State Licensed Massage
Therapist. New York State has some of the most stringent licensing
standards in the country, requiring over thousand hours of classroom
instruction and supervised hands-on experience, culminating in a
state-wide exam. She was educated at Healing Hands Institute of
Massage Therapy in Westwood, New Jersey. She is certified by the
National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Body Work
(NCBTMB) and a member of the American Massage Therapy
Association (AMTA). She has a strong background in several different
massage techniques. Utilizing her training and intuition, she tailors each
massage to fit her clients' needs. There is no "one size fits all" approach
to her treatments. Each massage is unique; a powerful healing experience
tempered with compassion.
Sarah performs massages in leading spas in Manhattan and Westchester
County and works with private clients. Her varied client list includes
athletes, executives, moms-to-be, adolescents and oncology patients.
Sarah has found another outlet for her passion for massage in the
classroom. She teaches budding massage therapists at the Academy of
Massage Therapy in Jersey City and Hackensack, NJ.
